Have you previously registered? Go directly to the SICI Utilities (now found at http://makealink.jstor.org/registered/).
To simplify the process of creating article level access into the JSTOR archive, we have developed a set of tools that will derive article location information from basic citation information that you provide. That article location information is presented in the form of a SICI-based URL. It is our hope that this toolset will result in simplifying the process, and will assist in sustaining the quality and permanence of the links that are created.
To help guide you through the linking process, we have provided some specific instructions based upon our most frequently received linking requests.
To create an online bibliography or class syllabus with links to articles in the JSTOR archive - for individual librarians, faculty members, students, and scholars at participating institutions.
To automate the creation of links to articles in the JSTOR archive from your local A&I databases, OPAC, or library webpages - for those affiliated with a JSTOR participating library.
You represent a JSTOR participating publisher and wish to automate the creation of links from the current issues of journals you publish to articles in the JSTOR archive.
If none of these situations apply to you, or if you need further information, please contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions or provide additional assistance. You represent a non-participating organization , such as a provider of electronic resources (A&I database, e-journal aggregator, integrated library system) and wish to automate the creation of links from that resource to the JSTOR archive.
