JSTOR welcomes links to the full text articles in its archive. Our Citation Linking Tool has been designed to take submitted citation information and search the JSTOR archive for the desired item. The results of the search are returned on a web page, and include the article citation and a stable URL built upon this information. The resulting URL may be cut and pasted into existing web pages.
We would like to remind you that only users authorized to use JSTOR will have access to the articles available from the links you create. In addition, the quality of your links is of great importance to us. Therefore, we ask that you be responsive to issues concerning quality control of the links and agree to cooperate with us in facilitating and testing the links when requested.
You may proceed to the Citation Linking Tool without registering if you prefer. You only need to register once.
The Citation Linking Tool is intended for creating links in those cases where relatively few items are needed, as is typically the case for a course page or syllabus. If you have a larger project in mind, such as automating wide-scale linking from a local database or other project, please register for access to our advanced linking utilities. These advanced tools have been designed to make larger linking projects more easily accomplished.
